A 'gift-in-kind' is a donation of something other than money

This is a list of items we need. If you have an extra one, or can sponsor a purchase, we'd certainly like to talk to you. Please contact us. Donations made 'in-kind' are tax deductible the same as cash.

• A large format color laser printer - Presently we have to hire-out the printing of our news magazine. Buying this printing equipment will reduce our costs from over $2.00 per newsletter, to about 50 cents! We will also be able to produce other publications more cost-efficiently. The best machine for the project costs $5200 and will pay for itself in less than a year and a half.

• Additional computer for our database and financial information - donated by Gateway Container, San Francisco.

• Digital camera - We often need a photo of stock items, such as a medicine bottle. Having our own camera means we won't have to go out and buy photos. We will also use it to record events such as local support meetings and our Society Symposium (conference).

We have a long list of publications we would like to write and make available to patients around the world. The income from these publications helps sponsor future publications and cover the costs of programs and services given to those under a financial hardship. In many cases it is not necessary to cover the entire cost of a publication, and every little bit helps. So, help us help others if you can.

A sponsor for a professional translation

Pemphigus and pemphigoid strike all nationalities and cultures. If information on how to detect and treat these incurable diseases is difficult to find in America, it is nearly nonexistent in foreign countries; especially the so-called Third World nations.

A professional translation costs between $1500 to $3000 depending on the language. We have also had translations done by qualified experts, such as physicians and university professors. If you know of someone who can help us, please let us know!

We want to translate this vital information into all languages, but we feel a special need for the following languages:
