The Pemphigus & Pemphigoid Society was formed by patients to help fellow patients who have been ignored or under-served largely because they are few in number and scattered across the globe.

We are dedicated to improve the education and well being of pemphigus and pemphigoid patients around the world, and to bring a greater awareness and understanding of these rare autoimmune blistering skin diseases in the public and medical community.

Our volunteers are selected because they have the skills, desire and positive attitude necessary to advance to our mission.

We utilize the best practices of the philanthropic industry to insure that our operation and programs are effective, efficient and frugal. We network with other organizations to increase our capabilities and visibility.

We reevaluate and fine-tune our organization regularly, using industry standards and patient interaction via questionnaires, polls, telephone surveys and our own Patient Advisory Council.

We won’t waste our time, energy or money for the simple reason that our patients and donors deserve nothing less.

We hate suffering and we won’t rest until cures for these diseases are found.
